ISLM activities

On the occasion of the International Day of School Libraries, Croatian Association of School Librarians in cooperation with Education and Teacher Training Agency organized the conference Librarians introduce their partners.

The conference took place in Nova Club Bookshop on October 27, 2008.

At the conference the following sessions were held:

-Education for the use of school library (Jasmina Lovrinčević, PhD)

-International cooperation of school librarians and schools. (Sanja Galic,

BA and a librarian; chairwoman of the Croatian Association of School Librarians).

Furthermore, experience of school librarians was shared:

- Cooperation of T. Brezovački High School and Naestved High School Denmark (Jadranka Jurić, BA and a librarian)

- Students' posters from the School for textile, design and applied art (Ivica Nikić, BA and a librarian)

- Students' achievements in the librarian group in Mladost Primary School (Ljiljana Šakić, BA and a librarian)

- S.S. Kranjčević appearance in calligraphy (Snježana Šulentić , BA and a librarian)

- In the beginning was a word – students' posters from the Vocational school of Construction and Geodesy (Hrvoje Mesić, BA and a librarian, with his students).

The conference was rounded up by a workshop Creative fairytale writing (Nada Poturiček, BA and a librarian).
